Abstract

This technical report was developed after undertaking contractual research for British Council, Pakistan. The research project looked at the effect of changing the medium of instruction from Urdu(mother tongue) to English at Grade 4 in the Punjab province in Pakistan. Anit Girgla Cherian led the project from ACER India.
