Abstract

The Hubs study aimed to ascertain the value of selected Queensland Child Care and Family Support Hubs (known as Hubs) to the families and young children in rural and regional localities by tracing the development of six Hubs where service provision in their localities was particularly challenging. Conducted during the period 2004 to 2006, it was the first investigative analysis of integrated early childhood care and family support services in Queensland’s rural and regional communities.
