Abstract

With the recent publication of The Diaries of Miles Franklin by Paul Brunton, this famous Australian author has once again entered into our national consciousness. Regarded by both critics and colleagues as a mysterious, private person, Franklin’s diaries would appear to provide the long awaited story of her intimate life.
