Abstract
While the term ‘mental health’ is often used in relation to individuals experiencing difficulties or diagnosed with an ‘illness’, it can be understood as a positive state relevant to every individual. More than simply the absence of difficulties, the World Health Organization (WHO 2013) defines mental health in terms of the capacity to be productive and make a positive contribution to society.
