This book discusses key assessment issues, provides a bank of models of good practice in assessment and demonstrates how holistic assessment can be undertaken within the assessment criteria of accredited frameworks. In two main sections, it introduces readers to findings of research and the thinking behind the examples of practice presented, and presents detailed descriptions of a selection of the assessment tasks developed and documented during the project, along with templates for a number of the tasks and strategies.
