Abstract
The four-year UNICEF Philippines Early Childhood Care and Development Longitudinal Study aims to provide the Republic of the Philippines Department of Education (DepED) and other stakeholders with evidence to guide implementation of the Early Years Act, recognising the ages from zero to eight as the first critical stage of educational development. This Study has been implemented by ACER and SEAMEO INNOTECH and supported by DepED, the Australian Government Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT), the United Nations Children's Emergency Fund (UNICEF) and the Assessment Curriculum and Technology Research Center (ACTRC).
