Abstract
This report documents the findings of the sixth triennial National Assessment Program – Science Literacy (NAP–SL) assessment cycle. The NAP–SL assessment provides the basis on which national key performance measures (KPMs) can be reported and a mechanism for monitoring progress towards the Melbourne Declaration on Educational Goals for Young Australians (Melbourne Declaration). Editions of this report for the five previous cycles are available on the ACARA NAP website.
