Abstract

The map of inservice education is changing. Role and responsibilities in its organisation and funding are uncertain. The dismantling of the Professional Development Program and the introduction of Commonwealth - State resource agreements have meant that employing authorities and teacher unions are finding it necessary to give more attention to explicit system level policies and conditions related to the professional development of teachers.
