Abstract
Based on the view that learning is the process people engage in when they are making meaning and constructing knowledge, we gave students and teachers mobile camera phones to record evidence of their life and learning. Using Lifeblog software, which organises the evidence on the phone and PC, participants showed a variety of ways in which to create digital narratives and simple ePortfolios. We found that teachers and parents had a strong influence on how the phones were used, and suggest that all parties should be involved in mapping future uses that take advantage of mobile technologies for learning.
