Abstract

Evidence for Learning (E4L) is a new, non-profit organisation that has been developed to address gaps between research, policy and practice in Australian school education (Evidence for Learning, 2017f). Social Ventures Australia with its foundation partners, the United Kingdom's Education Endowment Foundation (EEF) and the Commonwealth Bank of Australia, is incubating the organisation. Its mission is to help educators increase learning through improving the evidence of what works best and why for schools. Its vision is an Australia where evidence informs school decision-making, so that all children, regardless of background, make the best possible progress.
