Abstract
IEA’s International Computer and Information Literacy Study (ICILS) was designed to establish how well students around the world were prepared for study, work, and life in the digital age. This chapter describes the ICILS 2013 study design, the sample design, scaling methods, and the variables used, and outlines the practical significance of particular results.
