Abstract
This paper reports on a stage of a project that involved interviewing teachers and sometimes principals so as to identify and describe exemplary practices in the classroom use of curriculum profiles for assessment and reporting. Responses suggested that teachers were at different stages and held a range of understandings of the statements and profiles.
