Abstract
Approved graphic calculators were permitted in VCE mathematics examinations from 1997 the interim step of 'calculator neutral' examinations. This article describes a questionnaire survey of all secondary mathematics providers (school and TAFE) to gauge the access and use of graphic calculators in mathematics classrooms, prior to any assumption of access to graphic calculators being introduced.
