Dr Suijing Yang is a Research Fellow in the Education Research, Policy and Development division of the Australian Council for Educational Research (ACER). She contributes to the design of the digital assessment platform for essential skills and AI-related programs, including the development of a suite of professional learning modules on AI for teaching and learning. Suijing specialises in Educational Psychology, Educational Technology, and Learning Analytics. Her research is instrumental in unravelling the complexities of cognitive and metacognitive processes and fostering self-, co-, and socially shared regulated learning in both individual and collaborative learning environments. In addition, Suijing explores the exciting potential of human-AI collaboration. Her investigations delve into the ways in which AI can be harnessed to augment and enhance human learning experiences, ultimately leading to the development of technologies for teaching and learning.
