About
Dr Rebecca Taylor, BSc (Hons) Grad Dip Ed PhD Melb, is a Senior Research Fellow in the Tertiary and Professional Education Research Program at the Australian Council for Educational Research (ACER). During her time at ACER, Rebecca has been closely involved in several large-scale survey and assessment projects run within Australia and internationally.
As part of her work in higher education, Dr Taylor is the project director of the Australian General Practice National Registrar Survey (AGPT NRS), a survey instrument that gauges the level of registrar satisfaction with the quality of their training, training providers and with their career progression. She has also worked on the University Engagement Survey (UES), an Evaluation of the Tertiary Education Systems of Five Countries and their Comparison with Australia, the Assessment of Higher Education Learning Outcomes (AHELO), the Japanese University Experience Survey (JUES) and the Evaluation of the Bi-College Accreditation Program, a program set up to accredit the 17 Regional Training Providers of GP training in Australia.
