Dr Michelle Hsien is a Research Fellow in ACER's Education Research, Policy and Development program.
Michelle has a background in inclusive education, secondary teaching, pre-service teacher education, educational research and evaluation. In her former role as Research Fellow at the Assessment and Research Evaluation Centre at the Faculty of Education, University of Melbourne, Michelle has led and collaborated on multiple jurisdictional and federally-funded research and evaluation projects in education. She has reported on and developed literature review protocols for systematic and rapid reviews in areas such as literacy and numeracy teaching and learning, student learning outcomes, inclusive education, teacher professional practice and school improvement.
