About
Ms Lisa De Bortoli, BAppSci Deakin, GradDipCounsPsych RMIT, is a Senior Research Fellow in the Large-scale Assessments research program at the Australian Council for Educational Research.
Since joining ACER in 1995, she has worked primarily on a range of large-scale international studies and smaller State-wide assessment programs. Her involvement in The Third International Mathematics and Science Study (TIMSS), the Third International Mathematics and Science Study - Repeat (TIMSS-R), the International Association for the Evaluation of Educational Achievement (IEA) Civics Study and, more recently, the National Programme for International Student Assessment (PISA) project has included coordinating aspects of the administration, data analysis and contributing to the published reports.
Her research interests include the investigation of students’ attitudes on achievement.
