About
Dr Kerry Elliott is a Senior Research Fellow specialising in teaching, learning and leadership as part of the Centre for School and System Improvement at the Australian Council for Educational Research (ACER). Kerry’s expertise is in educational leadership, collective efficacy, teacher professional learning, standards, performance and development and school improvement.
Prior to joining ACER, Kerry worked at a University where she oversaw capacity-building activities and support for teachers, school leaders and networks.
Kerry’s research interests are generated by her academic and school leadership experiences and her doctoral studies focused on performance and development. Her work focuses on providing strategic direction, mentoring and support to school and system leaders utilising theory and practice in teaching, learning and leadership.
