    Dr Katherine Dix joined ACER in 2015 and is Principal Research Fellow within the Education Research, Policy & Development Department. She brings diverse experience in project managing and evaluating national school-based initiatives and programs that promote student wellbeing and mental health outcomes. Katherine has extensive experience in questionnaire design, large-scale survey implementation, mixed method analysis, and real-time reporting, along with expertise in many online survey platforms. She is currently the National Project Manager for Australia’s participation in the OECD Teaching and Learning International Survey (TALIS 2024). Katherine is a qualified systematic reviewer and is ACER’s registered evaluation consultant with the Australian Evaluation Society as well as a member of the ACER Human Research Ethics Committee. Her work is characterised by co-design and a holistic approach that actively contributes to the evidence base informing practices and policies for improved outcomes in education.
