    Biography

    Julie has over 35 years’ experience in education, including 22 years as a school principal in both NSW and the ACT, spanning a wide range of contexts and communities. She has also held director positions in two Australian government departments and in the Australian Capital Territory’s Education Directorate supporting education policy and program delivery. She has extensive experience working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities and educators and specialises in teacher and leader development. She is currently leading whole-of-system school review services and capability building with six Australian educational systems. Julie provides change management support and advice as systems and schools embark on improvement journeys. Further, she designs and facilitates bespoke workshops for education system leaders and co-leads transformational projects focused on building the capability of school leaders to enact effective school improvement.
