About
Since joining the Australian Council for Educational Research (ACER) as a Research Fellow in 2014, Jude Alexander, BSc (Hons) ANU, has designed stimulus materials and assessment items for a variety of tests, including the Progressive Achievement Test (PAT) upgrade, the International Schools' Assessment (ISA), the International Benchmark Test (IBT) and the ACER Certificate. She has also designed material for innovative tests in creativity, collaboration and STEM. She works in the Assessment and Reporting (Humanities and Social Sciences) research program.
Prior to joining ACER, Jude worked in a variety of science-related fields, including geology, soil hydrology and fire science. She created online courses and training tools for volunteer data collectors for the Country Fire Authority (CFA) in Victoria, Australia. Working in Research and Innovation, Jude also conducted research into grassfire parameters. In the Vocational Education and Training (VET) field, she has designed and run courses in both adult literacy and disabled adult literacy.
