Jo Doyle is a Research Fellow in the Effective Practice in Education program at the Australian Council for Educational Research (ACER), where she has worked since 2016, specialising in evaluation and mixed methods research.
With a long career as a teacher, program manager, and researcher, Jo is passionate about harnessing the power of education initiatives to improve lives and foster positive long-term outcomes, particularly for marginalised and vulnerable groups.
Jo’s experience spans education in development contexts, where she has coordinated large-scale fieldwork and data collection. She has contributed to a range of high-profile projects, including the National Preschool Outcomes Measure, Closing the Gap evaluations, and the Australia Awards Global Tracer Facility, where she led qualitative research into the long-term outcomes of Australia’s international development scholarships.
