    Jeaniene Spink, BA, GradDip ANU is the Research Director for Education and Development at the Australian Council for Educational Research. She was previously project director for the Southeast Asia Primary Learning Metrics (SEA PLM) initiative; project director for Lesotho Early Grades Reading program (World Bank); co-author and project director for the Eastern and Southern assessment of children’s learning outcomes project (UNICEF); project director for the ODE Teacher Evaluation Study for DFAT. Member of the LMTF and a GEM/DFAT Board Member. Leading ACER’s strategic partnership with the UIS on the development of a set of global metrics for reading and mathematics. 

    Ms Spink brings considerable experience of over 20 years in international work as well as education policy research and development. She specialises in sector policy development in transition and fragile state environments and has worked with a range of international development agencies including the UN, the World Bank, USAID, Australian DFAT and other international education research bodies.
