Greta Rollo is a Senior Research Fellow in the Effective Practice in Education Team at the Australian Council for Educational Research (ACER). Her expertise is an early education, inclusive education and differentiation through interpretation of assessment data.
Greta’s research focusses on using research and data-driven insights from assessments to improve teaching and learning. She currently leads development of the Executive Function assessment and learning progression for the
Preschool Outcomes Measure. She has led work in several jurisdictions to evaluate and improve assessments in the early years and those linked to resource distribution and multi-tiered systems of support for children with disabilities. These include the Disability Inclusion Profile and the Kindergarten Inclusion Support funding in Victoria and the Summary Profile in NSW.
Ms Rollo has worked in Early Childhood Intervention and Support services at SCOPE, leading the Transition to School project, whose evaluation was presented at the DEECD Innovations and Excellence conference in 2011. She has also been a teacher across Australian jurisdictions and settings.
Ms Rollo is a member of ACER’s disability inclusion advisory group for PISA 2025 and was a member of the ACER Human Ethics Research Committee from 2021-2025.
