Budiarti worked as a Program Manager for Research before becoming a Technical Consultant at ACER Indonesia. Prior to this, she worked as an Education Research Associate for a policy-level research project managed by the Asian Development Bank (ADB) to support the policy research in the Ministry of Education and Culture at the time. Budiarti has experience in overseeing, coordinating, and managing a number of research projects, including research on early childhood education, assessment of capacity development for youth, and the training of higher education faculty. She also contributed to a desk review of a Central Asian country's educational system's readiness and response to COVID-19. She also coordinated several workshops and seminars, as well as ACER's own discussion sessions.
