About
BSc (Hons), MSc, BEd Burdwan, PhD Jadavpur
Dr Abha Bhagat has worked in the field of assessment and research for more than 15 years. She joined Australian Council for Educational Research India in 2011. Since then, she has worked on several national & international projects involving educational assessment and measurement. She leads a team of assessment experts in STEM education and has been involved in strengthening systemic capacity in learning assessment for several Indian states. She contributed to developing a hand book for NCERT on conducting large-scale learning assessments in India.
Dr Abha has supported the governments of Nepal, Bhutan and Bangladesh in developing a robust national learning assessment system. Additionally, she has been involved in program management and impact evaluation of educational programs.
She holds a PhD in Biotechnology and Molecular Biology.
